Precautions When Loading Aluminum Coils

Aluminum coils and plates have corrosion resistance, but if it rains during transportation, it can cause uniform surface corrosion, affecting the appearance during use. Therefore, aluminum plates, aluminum strips, and embossed aluminum plates must be moisture-proof and rainproof during transportation. Anti corrosion liquid should not be mixed with materials such as moisture, oil, chemical raw materials, etc., to avoid local or corrosion. Aluminum sheet or aluminum scrap.

The hardness of aluminum plates is generally low, so anti-collision measures should also be taken during transportation. Especially aluminum foil is more prone to injury. Therefore, protective measures must be taken during loading, unloading, and transportation. Including where to use the soft strap and aluminum plate contact protection angle for the sling to ensure the safe arrival of goods.
The losses incurred during the transportation of aluminum coils and plates are only a few: scratches, collisions, and water oxidation.

Unreasonable loading is the main cause of losses. Therefore, when loading aluminum plates:
1. It should be stable, not on other goods, but under the carriage.
2. Aluminum plates can be stacked, but they should not be too high and should not exceed 3-4 layers;
3. Other goods inside the compartment should be reinforced to prevent collision with aluminum plates during driving;
4. Add waterproof cloth on the surface of the aluminum plate to avoid damage caused by weather factors such as rain and snow.
