The rolling process of aluminum coil is divided into three stages: rough rolling, intermediate rolling, and precision rolling. From the perspective of processing technology, it can be roughly divided based on the thickness of the rolling outlet. The general classification is that the outlet thickness is greater than or equal to 0.05mm for rough rolling, the outlet thickness between 0.013-0.05 for intermediate rolling, and the finished product with an outlet thickness less than 0.013mm and the finished product of double rolling for precision rolling. The rolling characteristics of rough rolling are similar to those of aluminum sheet and strip. The key to manipulating thickness is through rolling force and post support force. The processing rate of rough rolling is not high, and its rolling characteristics are mostly different from those of aluminum sheet and strip rolling, possessing the uniqueness of aluminum coil rolling.
