1. Aluminum sheet rolling. The key to softening aluminum plates and strips is to rely on rolling force. Therefore, the automatic thickness control system method is based on a constant roll gap as the main AGC behavior adjustment method. Even if the rolling force changes, adjusting the roll gap anytime and anywhere to maintain the recommended value of the roll gap can obtain amorphous strips with consistent thickness. When aluminum coil is rolled to medium precision rolling, due to the extremely thin thickness of the aluminum coil, the rolling force is increased during rolling, which makes it easier for the rolling mill to cause elastic deformation than plastic deformation of the raw material being rolled. The ductility and flattening of the rolling mill cannot be ignored. The flattening of the rolling mill determines that the rolling force in aluminum coil rolling can no longer achieve the same effect as that of plate rolling. Aluminum coil rolling is generally a seamless rolling process under constant working pressure. The key to adjusting the thickness of the aluminum coil is to adjust the supporting force and rolling speed after adjustment.
2. Stacking and rolling. For ultra-thin aluminum coils with a thickness less than 0.012mm (the thickness dimension is related to the diameter of the working rolls), it is recommended to use a single rolling method due to the ductility of the rolls. Therefore, the double rolling method is chosen, which involves adding lubricating grease in the middle of two aluminum coils and then rolling them together (also known as stack rolling). Stacking rolling can not only produce a thin aluminum coil that cannot be manufactured by rolling, but also reduce the frequency of ribbon production and improve labor efficiency. Choosing this type of processing technology can produce large quantities of single-layer smooth aluminum coils ranging from 0.006mm to 0.03mm.
3. Speed utility. The situation where the thickness of the foil material becomes softer with the increase of the rolling system during the entire process of aluminum coil rolling is called speed utility. The definition of the principle of speed utility still requires in-depth scientific research.
